Loaded and ready to go

Friday morning, June 1, I will depart. The bike is loaded and ready to go. Strapped on top of the two side cases are the tent, sleeping bag, Thermarest pad and the bulk of the camping items. I am carrying enough clothes to last about 10-12 days, enough food for several days, water for a couple of days, a complete tool kit, camera gear and a laptop computer.

Because of the taller Ohlins shocks I found I needed to fabricate a 3/4" spacer for the bottom of the side stand to keep the bike from leaning too far when it was on the side stand. I did that modification the night before I left, after these photos were taken.
